Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the TechUni Education Partner Management System (“Platform”, “Service”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TechUni's Education Partner Management System, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

TechUni provides a cloud-based platform that enables education partners to manage their operations, connect social media accounts, publish content, and collaborate with TechUni's network. The Platform may include features such as:

Account and profile management
Social media account integration and content publishing
Analytics and reporting tools
Communication and collaboration features
Content creation and upload capabilities

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Security

You agree to:

Notify TechUni immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at integrations@techuni.com
Use a strong, unique password and not share your login credentials
Log out of your account after each session on shared devices
Accept responsibility for all activity conducted through your account

3.3 Account Termination

TechUni reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your account poses a security risk to the Platform or other users.

4. Social Media Integrations

4.1 Third-Party Platforms

The Platform allows you to connect third-party social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok). By connecting these accounts, you authorize TechUni to access and use your data from those platforms in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the permissions you grant.

4.2 Your Responsibilities

When using social media integrations, you agree that:

You have the authority to connect the accounts you link to the Platform
You will comply with the terms of service of each connected social media platform
TechUni will only post content on your behalf when you explicitly initiate such actions
You remain solely responsible for all content published through connected accounts

4.3 Disconnecting Accounts

You may disconnect any linked social media account at any time through your account settings. TechUni will cease accessing that platform's data upon disconnection, subject to our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Platform solely for lawful purposes in connection with legitimate education partner activities. You agree to use the Service in good faith and in a manner consistent with its intended purpose.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its related systems
Use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in deceptive marketing practices
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Platform without TechUni's written permission
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
Use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the Platform (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant TechUni a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

6.2 Content Standards

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that your content does not violate any third-party rights (including intellectual property and privacy rights), is not misleading or fraudulent, and complies with all applicable laws.

6.3 Content Removal

TechUni reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that TechUni determines, in its sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, logos, text, graphics, and all other content created by TechUni, is owned by TechUni and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without TechUni's prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. You can review the Privacy Policy at any time by contacting us at integrations@techuni.com.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. TechUni disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. TechUni does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TechUni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if TechUni has been advised of the possibility of such damages. TechUni's total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to TechUni in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars (USD $100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechUni, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, platforms, or websites. TechUni does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Modifications to the Service and Terms

TechUni reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time with or without notice. TechUni may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a notice within the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate your access to the Platform at any time. You may terminate your account by contacting us at integrations@techuni.com and requesting account deletion. TechUni may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to TechUni, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and TechUni may delete your account and User Content subject to the data retention practices in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit in connection with any dispute related to the Platform.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechUni regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15.3 No Waiver

TechUni's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without TechUni's prior written consent. TechUni may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.
